Youth Leadership Program - 2005 PARTICIPANTS

Youth Leadership Program participants are selected on the basis of their academic excellence and proven leadership experience. This year's participants were selected from more than 70 applicants. The first three Youth Leadership Programs had a combined total of 40 participants. This year the program boasts the largest number of students selected-22 students total, among whom 4 are Ukrainian-Americans and 18 Ukrainians. Such a mix of students allows for greater interaction between U.S. and Ukrainian participants as well as between Ukrainians from all regions of Ukraine. Our past program in Washington D.C. also brought together Ukrainians and Ukrainian-Americans.
